Overview
Held annually since 2002, the MDI Marathon, Half, and Relay (Run MDI) is Mount Desert Island's largest and most diverse annual sporting event, attracting thousands of visitors from all 50 states, Canada, and beyond, for a weekend that celebrates personal achievements thru physical activity and camaraderie!
Run MDI continues to earn high marks and tremendous accolades from both participants and the running industry at large, including the people’s choice runner-up ‘Best Overall Marathon’ by Runner’s World Magazine.
Run MDI’s innovative Beyond the Finish Line Charity Fundraising Program benefits many local, state, and national nonprofit organizations. In addition, two scholarships are funded and awarded annually to a graduating girl and boy from Mount Desert Island High School.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Title Sponsor: $100K
Title Sponsorship is the highest and most exclusive level of sponsorship. Your business name will proceed the race name in all press releases. Additionally, your business name will be included in the event logo, which is featured on shirts, race bags, signage displayed at the start/finish lines, and on the Run MDI website. The full benefits of Title Sponsorship include:
Inclusion in the official event logo.

The second sponsor tier is Presenting Sponsorship. Your business name will follow the race name in all press releases.
